My oldest daughter (almost 3) came down with croup, so we were up all night. She fell asleep about an hour before I had to get up for work.
I'm more productive and creative today than I've been in ages. Maybe because my brain is foggy I don't have the mental capacity in my brain to let it wander off. One thing is all I can do, so I'm doing it.
And I still haven't driven the new Highlander. Not that I'm excited to get behind the wheel of this most un-Jalop vehicle. It would just be nice to actually operate the vehicle I just spent an assload of dollars to purchase.
Just saying.

I know the feeling on the kid front, we have a 2 and half year old and a 5 month old and they have been sharing colds back and forth for what feels like months. I haven't slept through the night in a long while. Im not any more creative though...which is too bad because I need to be right now.

What part of the country are you in?
My son (3) battled croup and an ear infection last week, and now it looks like my daughter (1.5) has picked up something (nasty fever last night). The worst part, at least for my wife, is that we thought the worst was over with my son so she kept a trip to NorCal with her and the kids. Two days later, my daughter gets sick. Luckily she's with my folks so they can help out.

My son had it... Worst freakin week in my life... he was about 4, and there is just nothing that you can do. Such a horrible feeling. Luckily it was winter, so when he started went over 103, I could just take him outside and let him cool down until he was more reasonable.

Austin. The weather has literally been 25 degrees one day, 86 the next, then back down to below freezing. Rainy too. She had conjunctivitis last week, and apparently croup can follow hot on its heels. Between both girls we've been to the doctor 7 times in 2 weeks.
